Bitbase Launches ORIGIN Program Distributing 1M Points Weekly

What Is Bitbase's New ORIGIN Rewards Program?
Digital asset exchange Bitbase has officially launched ORIGIN. This initiative marks the very first season of its newly introduced Bitbase Points program.
The main goal of the program is to recognize user participation over a sustained period. Instead of focusing on short-term activity spikes, the system rewards regular engagement.
Under this new structure, Bitbase distributes 1,000,000 points to participants each week. The entire season is scheduled to run for 26 weeks, concluding on May 4, 2027.
Retroactive Recognition for Existing Traders
Bitbase made a point to include past user activity ahead of the official launch. The exchange credited initial points to eligible users based on their prior trading history on the platform.
This retroactive step ensures that long-standing traders were recognized right from day one of the season. Users did not need to restart their journey from scratch.
Connecting ORIGIN to Bitbase 2.0
The ORIGIN points system represents the first feature of Bitbase 2.0 to reach platform users directly.
Bitbase originally unveiled its 2.0 vision on November 2. This platform upgrade included a revamped mobile app, a redesigned website, and a refreshed brand identity centered on the core statement: Market Flows. We Focus.
The philosophy behind the update is straightforward: market conditions fluctuate constantly, so the platform focuses on building features that provide lasting value. ORIGIN applies this exact principle to community rewards.
How Participation Points Are Calculated
Enrolling in the ORIGIN program requires no manual sign-up forms or extra steps. Eligible new and existing users are enrolled automatically into the system.
Points are calculated and allocated on a daily basis. The calculations evaluate user contributions across four main criteria:
- Trading activity: Volume and transactions conducted on the exchange.
- Asset balances: The total value of assets stored safely on Bitbase.
- Consistency: Regular, day-to-day engagement over time.
- Referrals: Inviting new active users to join the platform.
Because consistency serves as one of the core criteria, steady long-term participation accumulates steadily over the course of the 26-week season.
Understanding the Referral Mechanism
The program also contains a specific mechanism for community growth. When a participant refers a new user to Bitbase, the referrer earns an additional bonus equal to 25% of that new user's calculated contribution.
Importantly, this bonus does not reduce the rewards earned by the invited individual. The new user's own contribution remains entirely unaffected and intact.
Weekly Trading Identity Cards
Starting on November 9, Bitbase is adding a social element to the program by introducing shareable Trading Identity cards.
These personalized cards reflect each participant's individual trading habits and activity patterns. Bitbase will issue updated cards every Monday throughout the remainder of the season.
Official Statements from Bitbase Leadership
Executives at Bitbase emphasized that the points program aligns directly with their platform's core operational values.
Bitbase 2.0 is about focus, and for our users, that means knowing their steady participation is recognized and credited. That’s why ORIGIN started by crediting what users had already done with us. It doesn’t ask anyone to trade differently. It simply records the participation that’s already there, every day, for the next six months. — Nicholas Lo, Chief Business Officer at Bitbase
How to Check Points and Rankings
Participants can view their daily point totals, overall rankings, and progress updates directly within the official Bitbase mobile app or through the desktop website.
Complete rules and program specifications are published on the official platform page at bitbase.com/points.
Understanding Exchange Reward Programs
Points programs are a common framework used across digital asset exchanges to foster user retention and platform liquidity. While reward systems provide engagement incentives, participants should always evaluate their personal trading strategies carefully.
Trading cryptocurrencies involves market risks, and market dynamics can shift rapidly. Maintaining steady risk management remains essential regardless of promotional structures.
