XRP ETFs Log Zero Inflows as Onchain Whales Move Funds

Institutional crypto products just experienced an unusually quiet period. U.S. spot XRPXRP-0.56% exchange-traded funds (ETFs) finished an entire week without recording a single dollar of net inflows.
The wider crypto market showed mixed sentiment during this time. Bitcoin (BTCBTC-0.04%) hovered around $75,924 (down 0.11%), while EthereumETH-0.21% traded near $2,245 (up 0.46%).
A Quiet Week for Spot XRP ETFs
Data from Sosovalue reveals that Canary's XRP ETF (XRPC) was the only fund with movement on Monday, Nov. 2. It recorded a net outflow of $529,500.
After Monday, trading activity went completely silent. The funds posted zero net flows across four consecutive sessions on Nov. 3, 4, 5, and 6.
Despite the quiet week, cumulative net inflows for XRP ETFs still stand at a solid $1.81 billion. Total net assets slid to $1.34 billion, representing 1.82% of XRP's total market capitalization.
That asset figure is down from $1.425 billion reported on Monday. However, this shrink is driven by XRP's falling market price rather than investor redemptions.
Shift From a 12-Week Inflow Streak
This sudden pause marks a sharp turn from earlier momentum. In early October, reports showed XRP ETFs enjoying 12 straight weeks of steady inflows.
September brought in an impressive $121.4 million. By late October, institutional demand cooled significantly, with monthly net inflows sinking to $18.8 million.
Comparing XRP to Other Altcoin ETFs
While XRP ETF inflows stalled, the funds held firmer ground than several market peers during the same timeframe:
- SolanaSOL-0.43% ETFs: Shed $25.08 million on Nov. 6.
- HyperliquidHYPE-1.38% ETFs: Lost $7.96 million on Nov. 6.
- Zcash (ZEC) ETFs: Stood out as the only altcoin products to attract new capital.
- Bitcoin ETFs: Experienced $1.28 billion in weekly outflows, marking their largest exit in 19 weeks.
Whales Move Funds While ETF Buyers Wait
While regulated investment products paused, onchain activity told a far busier story. On Nov. 4, roughly 418.5 million XRP left Binance, marking the exchange's largest single-day XRP outflow in nine months.
This move surpassed the 315 million XRP withdrawn on Oct. 29, the day of Binance's $6.3 billion security incident. The massive withdrawal pushed XRP's Binance scarcity gauge to its highest reading since 2022.
Large holders appear to be accumulating heavily. The total number of XRP millionaire wallets climbed to a 2026 high.
In one notable transfer, a single wallet moved 140.35 million XRP (worth approximately $167.8 million) to an unknown address. Large exchange withdrawals reduce the supply immediately available for sale, though some moves may reflect internal exchange management.
Current Price Levels and Market Outlook
XRP is currently trading near $1.16, down about 7% over the past week and roughly 50% compared to one year ago. Past performance of digital assets is no guarantee of future returns. You can check updated rates on the Bitkub XRP Market.
Technical analysts note that XRP previously maintained support around $1.21. Under market conditions where buyer demand recovers and pushes the price above $1.34, some chartists suggest a bottom could be confirmed.
Conversely, if selling pressure persists and keeps XRP below $1.21, analysts point toward $1.11 as the next key support level to monitor. Market participants are watching closely to see whether institutional ETF buyers or onchain whales take control of the next trend.
